The Center for Lifelong Learning at the University of Chapel Hill School of Nursing is once again offering a Forensic Nursing Update on June 6, 2018, at Extraordinary Ventures in Chapel Hill. Participants in this program will get the latest information on the role of forensic nursing in the health care setting, the justice system and the community. Expert speakers will present the latest evidence in planning the care for victims of violence and abuse, developing sustainable Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) programs, collecting and processing evidence, and working with the legal system to bring justice to individuals and communities.
