During this PDA David Foster will help teacher leaders understand the basic strategies for implementing Formative Assessment Lessons (FALs) designed and presented as Classroom Challenges by the Mathematics Assessment Project. David will also share video cases of these lessons and results on teacher and student learning from various studies conducted by the Mathematics Assessment Project and the Silicon Valley Mathematics Institute. The PDA will prepare teacher leaders to teach their teachers how to conduct Formative Assessment Lessons in their own classrooms.
