# What's Trending

Florida is a unique and varied state, a melting pot of philanthropic and grantmaking professionals with a breadth of experience and history of taking risks to be more effective leaders. As we monitor trends in philanthropy and grantmaking, we see how national movements trickle down into our daily work and what’s working for Florida. From funding strategies to social responsibility to the formation of cross-sector partnership, the landscape of philanthropy continues to evolve.

At the 2017 FPN Statewide Summit on Philanthropy, we will hear from experts and practitioners spotlighting best practices and case studies to advance our collective work and shift innovation, risk and impact from idea to practical application.

Who Should Attend?

The Summit is open to all staff and board members of any grantmaking foundation or other type of grantmaking organization, including private independent foundations, private family foundations, public grantmaking foundations, public charity grantmakers, community foundations, corporate foundations and corporate giving programs. The Summit is also open to invited leaders of government agencies and departments, businesses, academic institutions, and membership associations or other umbrella organizations that represent the interests of the nonprofit sector or specific segments of the sector.

Vendors/consultants cannot attend the Summit unless they are a Summit exhibitor or sponsor, or are representing a foundation/grantmaker client at the request of that foundation/grantmaker client.
