Franklin County CARTEENS September 2017

Check-in ​​is ​​from ​​6p.m ​​until ​​6:30 ​​p.m. ​​Class ​​starts ​​promptly ​​at ​​6:30 ​​p.m. ​​Those ​​that ​​arrive ​​late ​​will ​​be ​​counted ​​as ​​absent ​​and ​​will ​​not ​​receive ​​any ​​court ​​attendance ​​credit. ​

All ​​participants ​​must ​​attend ​​with ​​a ​​parent/guardian ​​regardless ​​of ​​their ​​age, ​​and ​​participants ​​will ​​not ​​be ​​permitted ​​to ​​leave ​​before ​​the ​​session ​​is ​​completed. ​​ ​​Those ​​leaving ​​will ​​not ​​receive ​​court ​​attendance ​​credit ​​and ​​will ​​be ​​required ​​to ​​appear ​​for ​​a ​​further ​​court ​​hearing. ​

A ​​non-refundable ​​fee ​​of ​​$50 ​​will ​​be ​​collected. ​​Parents/Guardians ​​will ​​not ​​be ​​charged ​​for ​​attendance. ​Credit ​card ​payment ​is ​required ​in ​the ​amount ​of ​$50. ​If ​you ​do ​not ​have ​a ​credit ​card ​then ​you ​can ​select ​the ​Will ​Call ​option. ​You ​will ​need ​to ​bring ​$50 ​CASH ​or ​MONEY ​ORDER ​(NO ​personal ​checks) ​the ​night ​of ​the ​event ​for ​payment. ​If ​you ​select ​Will ​Call ​and ​decide ​not ​to ​attend, ​you ​must ​call ​and ​cancel ​prior ​to ​the ​event.

All ​​cell ​​phones, ​​etc., ​​must ​​be ​​turned ​​off ​​during ​​the ​​program ​​by ​​all ​​participants ​​including ​​parents. ​​Please ​​reschedule ​​if ​​this ​​is ​​not ​​possible. ​

The ​​program ​​location ​​is ​​a ​​smoke-free ​​building. ​​Smoking ​​is ​​not ​​permitted. ​

Appropriate ​​clothing ​​as ​​mandated ​​by ​​the ​​court ​​should ​​be ​​worn; ​​no ​​strapless ​​tops, ​​sweat ​​pants, ​​hats, ​​etc. ​​This ​​dress ​​code ​​applies ​​to ​​all ​​participants. ​

Respectable ​​behavior ​​is ​​required ​​at ​​all ​​times ​​during ​​the ​​session. ​​ ​​Any ​​youth ​​and ​​their ​​parents/guardians ​​exhibiting ​​unruly, ​​disrespectful ​​or ​​uncooperative ​​behavior ​​shall ​​be ​​removed ​​from ​​the ​​session. ​​ ​​Court ​​referred ​​offenders ​​will ​​be ​​reported ​​to ​​Juvenile ​​Court ​​personnel ​​and ​​the ​​court ​​will ​​provide ​​instructions ​​regarding ​​a ​​further ​​court ​​hearing. ​

Registration ​​is ​​limited ​​to ​​the ​​first ​​50 ​​participants ​​for ​​every ​​session. ​

If ​you ​need ​to ​transfer ​your ​registration ​to ​a ​different ​date, ​please ​email ​Sue ​Hogan ​at ​hogan.239@osu.edu. ​You ​cannot ​change ​your ​registration ​date ​yourself.

The ​event ​is ​at ​530 ​W. ​Spring ​Street ​on ​the ​second ​floor. ​ ​Parking ​is ​in ​the ​rear ​of ​the ​building ​off ​of ​Nationwide ​Boulevard. ​ ​Please ​note ​that ​during ​sporting ​events ​there ​will ​be ​a ​placard ​with ​a ​$5 ​charge ​on ​it ​in ​the ​parking ​lot. ​ ​This ​does ​not ​apply ​to ​you ​as ​your ​parking ​is ​free.
