The Fraud Identification Training course examines financial institution practices and procedures that would be considered red flags, potential examination procedures that would identify such weaknesses, and the corrective measures needed to improve them. The course consists of 21 case studies drawn from regulatory agencies, and lessons learned from each of them. The course is conducted and facilitated over a 5-week time period. The participant has a variety of assignments to complete, either electronically or using printed materials. The estimated amount of time to successfully complete this course is approximately 8 hours a week, for 5 consecutive weeks. The participant may also choose to complete the course in a single 40-hour week.
