The Process Hazards and Risk Analysis (PH&RA) Functional Safety Engineering Certification program offer a comprehensive understanding of hazard theory and several of the most relevant hazard analysis methodologies:
o What-if, combined what-if/checklist analysis
o Failure Modes Effect Analysis (FMEA)
o Calibrated Risk Graph / Safety Layer Matrix
o Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)
o Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
o Event Tree Analysis (ETA)
o Hands-on practice with each of the methods;
o Selection of hazard analysis technique;
o Formal exam on the fourth day for compliance towards certification from TÜV Rheinland;
1. Attend another TÜV – PH&RA course and then write the exam again at a reduced fee of $2,995 CDN + GST 2. Write the TÜV – PH&RA exam again the next time it is scheduled, within a year after taking the program for $995 CDN +GST. Participants who don’t rewrite the exam within 365 days will have to re-take the entire program.
• When you register and pay to either retake the entire course or to only rewrite the exam, you are also eligible to have a course instructor spend 30 minutes with you to review the areas where you had difficulty. We highly recommend that you take advantage of this service to ensure that you identify the areas of the exam which need improvement.
• ACM does not require that the complete training has to be re-attended for the exam to be retaken.
• Retakes have to be agreed upon with ACM
