Summary

This 2-day course is designed to help participants learn more about engineering/design, manufacturing, tests, installation operations, and maintenance features of API 617 Centrifugal Gas Compressors installed in oil, gas and petrochemical industries. It is a seminar-style course with class discussion. Preparation for the class will be important for all participants who want to benefit fully from the course by reviewing of class notes and references in advance. The course is based on API 617 and practical case studies to assist attendees in improving both their academic and practical experiences. The course blends design and engineering subjects, with manufacturing, test, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance/troubleshooting issues of the new compressor applications. This course will also help you to attend technical meetings with vendors with improved confidence.
