GardenWise is a one day school sponsored by York County Master Gardeners for gardeners interested in keeping abreast of the latest news and research in gardening. Along with an informative agenda, there will also be book signings, local vendors, and new/used books available for registrants to purchase. Whether a novice or expert gardener, GardenWise has something for everyone!

Speaker Highlights

  • Thomas Rainer, landscape architect, will start the day by showing participants how home landscapes are changing from highly groomed plants to a more lush, softer look of layers.
  • Neil Hendrickson of Bartlett Tree Research, will forever change ideas of how to care for trees.
  • Miriam Goldberger, owner of Wildflower Farm in Canada will show participants how to grow and use wildflowers.

Event Note

GardenWise an environmentally friendly event. Registrants are welcome to bring their own water bottles to refill at the water stations.
