Join us for the Second Annual GTL Technology Forum

Gulf Publishing Company is pleased to announce that the second annual GTL Technology Forum will be held in Houston, Texas July 30-31, 2014. GTL is an increasingly important part of the North American energy industry. The World Bank estimates that over 150 billion cubic meters of natural gas are flared or vented annually, an amount worth approximately $30.6 billion, equivalent to 25% of US gas consumption, or 30% of EU gas consumption per year. As the natural gas boom in North America continues and new technologies emerge to reduce costs, company interest is increasing—and so is investment. The GTL Technology Forum will investigate the technology and trends at work as GTL usage and projects continue to grow in popularity.

The 2014 conference agenda is put together by our esteemed advisory board. Participants include: Bechtel Hydrocarbon Technology Solutions, Inc.; Kinetics Process Improvements, Inc.; Fluor Enterprises; Haldor Topsoe; Aerojet Rocketdyne, Inc.; Standard Alcohol Company of America, Inc.; Jacobs Engineering; Primus Green Energy; Velocys and more.

Sessions will focus on syngas, the future of non-FT, what's new in small scale GTL, emerging technology and future users, catalysts and modular construction. Interactive panel discussions will explore modular GTLs and the future uses of GTL. The conference program also includes the following real-world case studies:

  • GTL technology development—The optimal path to Micro-GTL commercialization
  • Refinery integration with gasification

Plus, attendees will hear presentations on the economics of natural gas and ammonia production from off-gases. Don't miss this unique opportunity learn from industry experts and to connect face-to-face with top operators and technology leaders from across the global hydrocarbon processing industry.
