Generating Evidence for Nursing Education | June 7-8, 2018

Using active-learning, in this two-day immersive workshop you will learn how to: identify a research problem; link education research priorities and funding considerations; identify the role of theory; examine ethical issues and research designs; select instruments and measurement tools; and discuss options for data collection, analysis, and interpretation of data. Working in small groups with experts, participants will learn to transform a research idea into a proposal that will create evidence for nurse educator practice, and leave with the tools to write a rigorous research proposal in nursing education. This course is perfect for nurse educators, doctoral nursing students, and/or nurse researchers.
