Sinclair Workforce Development, in cooperation with Riverside Research, is pleased to present Geospatial Information for UAS, through its UAS Training & Certification Center. Geospatial information is vital for the successful employment of UAS. This course reviews the sources, production methods and analysis procedures for geospatial data as they relate to UAS operations. (Two Days)What participants will come away with:Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) play a vital role in the planning, action, and post-mission portions of UAS flights. This course will inform students on what a GIS is a well as explain the many applications of UAS.Learning Outcomes:- Define Common Terms in the UAS and GIS community - Compare and contrast the difference between data and information - Evaluate data from multiple sources in terms of its usefulness, accuracy, and potential in order to review sources, production methods, and analysis procedures for geospatial data as they relate to UAS operations.
