There is a significant amount of research that supports the effectiveness of self-testing for student studying. Unfortunately, self-testing obviously requires an archive of test questions for students to study from: Something that most instructors simply don’t have the time to create. In this session, we’ll talk about a number of different strategies that can help instructors to build a bank of test questions over time, including how to use student-created questions. Representatives from Nelson will also be on hand to show us some of the products they offer that can support self-testing in your course.
