Global Team Dynamics: August 27-30, 2013

Summary

Today’s work teams routinely cross global, social, and cultural boundaries. Many of us work in teams, whether in the same office or around the globe. Today’s organizations bring globally diverse cultures and perspectives together with underpinnings of leadership, decision-making, success, and teamwork as common goals. NTL’s Global Team Dynamics lab uses a combination of Applied Behavioral Science theory and NTL’s proven group learning techniques to help you learn to acknowledge and value global differences while working together in the “shared space” of understanding and cross cultural skills.

By participating in Global Team Dynamics, you will:   

• Learn contemporary, cutting edge concepts for successful global teams 
• Develop a sensitivity to the dynamics of culturally diverse teams, including how cultural differences impact: decision-making, communication, participation, team cohesion, development of trust, commitment, development of team norms, leadership and followership, and accountability
• Improve your capability to build global teams that:
  • Honor and utilize the cultural differences of their members
  • Are able to bring all members into full collaboration

• Am I a member of a cross cultural team or teams whose success depends upon all members working effectively together to achieve organizational goals?
  
• Do I want to increase my skills for working across cultural differences?
• Does my role in my organization require me to better understand what is needed to effectively implement cross-cultural teams?
