Grand Canyon University's STEM Ready Series

Innovation is driving the U.S. workforce and economy. In order to prepare students for the future, integration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) instructional practices within the educational experience is paramount. Moreover, just as each student is unique, each school should aim to customize a path and strategy that meets their unique needs to best serve their community. Is your school STEM Ready?

The STEM Ready workshop series is designed to help schools evaluate their current STEM readiness, analyze their needs and create a strategic plan to implement STEM into their teaching and learning practices. Each workshop will be an interactive, hands-on learning experience that will provide a school team the time and tools necessary to collaborate and create sustainable STEM practices to embed in their school culture. Participants will receive one day of customized STEM Ready coaching at their site and at the conclusion of the series, schools that successfully complete the program will be eligible to apply for the GCU STEM Ready Grant to help kick-start an identified project or program.
