Great Lakes Mammalian Development 2012

The purpose of this meeting is to encourage collaborations and communication between researchers in the field of mammalian developmental biology in the Great Lakes region. Fees are kept low to encourage as many graduate students and postdoctoral fellows as possible to participate and present their work.

Keynote Speaker

We are very excited to have Dr. Lee Niswander as our Keynote Speaker for the 2012 Great Lakes Meeting. She is Professor and HHMI Investigator at the University of Colorado Denver and Health Sciences Center. Her scientific interests include the genetic, cellular, and molecular processes that regulate development of the vertebrate embryonic neural tube, limb, and lung.

Baseball

The Great Lakes Mammalian Development Meeting this year overlaps with the Toronto Blue Jays playing at Skydome, a 5 minute walk from the meeting location. We have a set of group tickets which will be available at no extra charge on a first-come, first-served basis.

The earlier you register, the more likely you are to get a ticket, so register asap. Remember: you may register today, and upload your abstract at a later date, as long as it is before March 5th.
