Harvard Negotiation Master Class - April 2020

Previous Negotiation Training

Participants typically have 10-20 years of negotiation experience and have taken a prior course with PON or a comparable program. A brief application is required to enroll. This advanced program is strictly limited to 60 participants.

English Proficiency

Participants must demonstrate proficiency in English and be able to converse fluently in dialogue with the instructor and/or other students. A certification of fluency is not required, although we suggest a TOEFL written exam score of 570 as the minimum proficiency standard. PON may call applicants to assess English proficiency.

Personal Laptop / Tablet Required

Please bring a laptop or tablet (e.g, iPad) with wireless internet (WiFi) capability so that you can access the internet for activities during assignments in class. We will provide information on wireless access when you arrive. If you are not able to bring your own laptop or tablet, please notify us in advance to make alternate arrangements.

Course Structure

The 60 participants accepted to the Harvard Negotiation Master Class are carefully selected to create a collegiate atmosphere and ensure quality dialogue. We work well in advance of the course to create faculty-led working groups, pre-assign negotiation roles, and send pre-work to participants. Thus, we discourage late enrollment changes or absences that will impact group composition and the experience of other participants.

Participants must attend all sessions of the course to receive a certificate of completion. Please make your travel plans accordingly.
