As the 30 year anniversary of Margaret Heckler’s report on Black & Minority Health draws closer, it is critical to examine the improvement—or lack thereof—in health disparities, which include gross and persistent infant mortality, along with understanding the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
Co-hosted by Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine, Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs and the American Public Health Association with sponsorship from the Congressional Asian and Pacific American Caucus, the Congressional Black Caucus, and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the briefing will feature the following speakers and panelists:
