Lab Tours Information
Groups and individuals pre-registered for Health Science and Nursing Day may participate in Anatomy and Nursing Lab Tours.
- After your Health Science and Nursing Day registration is complete by registering online, submitting all required permission forms and you have received your registration confirmation, an event representative will contact you to schedule your lab tours.
- Lab tours are pre-scheduled. No walk-ins or substitutions will be available.
- Lab tours are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. We encourage you to submit your permission forms early to obtain your lab tour time. Space is limited and not guaranteed.
- When you arrive at HSN day check-in, you will receive a wristband with your lab tour time. Make sure to arrive at your designated lab tour location 20 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
Available Lab Tours
HAWS (Human Anatomy Workshop)
Human Anatomy Workshop: The Cadaver Lab tour, featuring a real cadaver, is a great learning experience for your students. The tour will consist of a general overview of the body. Students will see a range of various organs and muscles detailing the human body.
Simulation Lab Tour
The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions simulation lab provides extensive hands-on training where students apply theoretical knowledge to a simulated medical facility setting. We have computer operated life-like mannequins that simulate everything from mild symptoms to complex health problems. The simulations area is a fully equipped examination area with four distinct simulation rooms. Tours will offer demonstrations of this state of the art equipment.
