Our team, Hokies for Hooters, is already getting geared up to have another amazing showing at the 2013 Washington, DC Komen Race for the Cure! Last year, we were named one of the top 10 teams at the event and raised $13,725 dollars for breast cancer research and prevention efforts through the Komen Foundation. While we’re incredibly proud of our accomplishment last year, we’re challenging ourselves this year to break the $20,000 dollar threshold and are starting now! We designed the Hokies for Hooters koozies and all profits will be donated through our team to the Komen Foundation 2013 Race for the Cure!
