Participants will learn how to safely make and can sauerkraut and salsa.
Participants will learn how to use those big heads of fresh cabbage, available after the first frost, to make sauerkraut that can be enjoyed all year.
Using the abundance of tomatoes, onions, and peppers available this time of year, participants will learn how to create tasty salsa using research tested recipes and learn basic canning techniques in the process.
