PRE-CONFERENCE. Whale Watching Adventure (Fee applies)—meet in lobby

If you are like us, whale watching is on your bucket list. Late February in L.A. is the perfect time to spot them so we are taking EVS attendees out on the water! This is the best time of year to catch a whale-watching boat and see the gray whales migrate to Alaska from their winter breeding grounds in Baja Mexico. Join you peers and Captain Jeremy on our private chartered boat on this 3-hour search for the largest animal the world has ever seen. Generally, whales like to hug the coastline which means plenty of chances to interact with these massive marine mammals--gray whales can reach 48 feet in length and weigh up to 72,000 pounds. This will be a day we won’t soon forget as we catch these majestic creatures in all their glory along with many other sea animals. If we’re lucky, we might even see a whale jump right out of the water! Cost is $195 a person and includes whale watching with a naturalist, gourmet lunch, drinks and transportation to/from Marina del Rey with a guarantee this is an experience you will talk about for years to come.

*Please bring a warm jacket, hat, sunscreen and binoculars if you have them.

Mini Session v1: The Evolution of Product Management--Panorama

Back by popular demand, this mini session, led by an attendee in the audience, will tackle a topic of interest to everyone in the room. Today there is a discernible shift to measuring a product's success by how well it performs, and how much it drives value to, and retention of, clients. Essentially, evolving from a quantitive measurement approach (feature velocity and units sold) to a broader, qualitative approach indexed to how much value a product provides. How well does your firm alight with this shift? And who is really driving your product roadmap?

(Write in your burning legal questions during registration or send them to Charlotte by 2/15)

Speaker: Sean Cox, CIPP/US, is an attorney in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith. His practice involves both domestic and global data privacy and security regulation.
