Robert Hawley is a partner at Mathys & Squire and has significant experience in all aspects of trade mark work, from assisting clients with the selection and protection of their marks through to matters of an enforcement nature. He is also experienced in the registration and enforcement of Designs in the UK, the European Union and other overseas jurisdictions. In addition, he is also well-versed in dealing with cases before the UK Trade Marks Registry, and the Community Trade Mark Office (EU) and World Intellectual Property organisation, as well as liaising with attorneys in many other jurisdictions.

Laura is a qualified Trade Mark Attorney and has experience in the filing, prosecution and enforcement of trade marks all over the world and has a strong focus on business growth through imports, exports and global portfolio management. Laura works with her clients to ensure that their IP strategy fits closely with the overall business strategy and aims to provide legal advice that has a strong commercial foundation. She has worked with a wide range of clients including those in the fashion, media, medical, construction, engineering and service-based sectors. She also works closely with Customs and Trading Standards in assisting her clients protect against counterfeit goods.
