Power your business forward by learning how your company can get certified and bid on contracts with SMUD, the nation's sixth-largest community-owned electric service provider. We’ll provide an overview of our business contracting procedures and explain our Supplier Education and Economic Development (SEED) Program, which offers incentives to local small businesses for participating in our competitive bid process. Parking will be limited; therefore, we highly encourage alternative transportation such as Regional Transit or carpooling. There is a Regional Transit Light Rail station within one block of the SMUD building (University/65th Street Station); please see www.sacrt.com for a current schedule. For those traveling by personal vehicle, we have parking available directly across from the Customer Service Center Building located at 6301 S Street or you may use street parking. Cancellation Policy: For your registration, we plan course materials, refreshments, and seating for you. If you are not planning to attend, please notify us as soon as possible, so that others may utilize this resource. Please be advised that we reserve the right to disallow workshop pre-registrations and will remove your name from future Energy Education & Technology Center workshop registration lists should you fail to provide our office with advanced notice (2 business days) of registration cancellation.
