Bob has more than 30 years experience in combined cycle power plants and has chaired numerous industry conferences where his vast knowledge of HRSG technology has been shared with thousands of power plant management professionals.

Dr. Barry Dooley is a Senior Associate with Structural Integrity Associates,
specializing in failures in power plants, flow-accelerated corrosion, tube failures, steam turbine damage and cycle chemistry. He is author or co-author of over 290 papers and editor of 14 international conference proceedings in the areas of metallurgy, power generation, boiler and HRSG tube failures, FAC, cycle chemistry, steam turbine failures, and life extension and assessment of fossil plants.

Dr. Dooley has been the Executive Secretary for the International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS) since 1989. Currently he is the IAPWS Task Group Chairman on developing Cycle Chemistry Guidance Documents for Fossil, Combined Cycle/HSRG and Biomass power plants (www.IAPWS.org).

Jeff Henry formerly was Director of ALSTOM Power Inc.’s Materials Technology Center in Chattanooga, TN and currently serves as President of ATC, Inc., a materials engineering services company. His professional experience has been concentrated on the service performance of power plant materials, with particular focus on high temperature behavior, welding, and the Creep Strength-Enhanced Ferritic Steels, such as Grade 91. He has authored over 60 technical papers. Mr. Henry is an ASME Fellow and is active on a number of the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code technical committees. He formerly served as chairman of BPV II, the Materials Standards Committee, and is the current chair of the Working Group on Creep Strength-Enhanced Ferritic Steels. He also is a member of BPV I (Power Boilers), the Management Oversight Technical Committee (TOMC) and the Board of Pressure Vessel Technology.

Stephen Shulder is Program Manager of EPRI’s Boiler and Turbine Steam and Cycle Chemistry in the Fossil Generation Sector. He works with research and program implementation in the areas of power plant cycle chemistry for conventional fossil plants and combined cycle heat recovery steam generators. He joined EPRI’s staff in the fall of 2011.

Mr. Shulder has worked over 38 years in power plant chemistry and environmental programs in both the public and private sector. Before joining EPRI, he was an Associate with Structural Integrity Associates dealing with cycle chemistry, flow-accelerated corrosion, water/wastewater assessments, and nuclear plant buried piping programs. Earlier he held various positions with Constellation Energy in the Chemistry and Materials Section most recently as supervising engineer responsible for cycle chemistry in the fossil generation fleet. He worked for Delmarva Power as a chemist in the central lab supporting conventional fossil plant chemistry and environmental programs. Mr. Shulder began his career at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency responsible for implementation of the Safe Drinking Water Act in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Perrin has over 20 years of problem solving and technical consulting experience within the power generation industry for a variety of plant systems including: gas turbines, heat recovery steam generators, boilers, heat exchangers and balance of plant equipment. He has extensive experience in material damage mechanisms, material modeling, non-linear solid mechanics and component life assessment and provides technical leadership of design reviews, condition assessments, root cause analyses and failure investigations.

As VP of the Fossil Plant Services at Structural Integrity Associates, Dr Perrin manages a multi-disciplinary team providing asset life cycle management solutions to fossil and combined cycle plants. Services include development of life management programs, fitness-for-service assessments, condition assessments, metallurgical failure analyses and component inspections.

Dr. Perrin has a First Class Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Sheffield, England and obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, England. He has authored many technical papers on structural analysis and high temperature life assessment.

Jean-François graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium) as a mechanical civil engineer. He then got an MSc in Aerospace Vehicle Design at Cranfield Institute of Technology (UK) but started his career in the HRSG business, dealing with fluid dynamics at CMI. He did not leave the company since, gaining experience through various positions before becoming the Chief Technology Officer of the Energy sector 7 years ago.

Andrew is the plant manager for Calpine Corp’s Northern California Peakers. Previously, he held various other positions at the company’s generating assets in Northern California, including operations manager maintenance manager, DCS technician, and IC&E tech. He has been with Calpine since entering the industry in 1998 as IC&E tech at the Watsonville Cogeneration Plant following graduation from UC Santa Cruz. Andrew is currently serving his fifth year as the LM6000 Breakout Session Chair, and before that, chair of LM500 Breakout Sessions.

A chemical engineer by schooling, Anthony has spent his 15 year career at Aspen Aerogels, Inc., seeing the company grow from a small, privately-held start-up to a publicly traded, industry leader in flexible aerogel insulation. The first half of his career was spent on the technical side of the business where he developed new products and manufacturing techniques to save money for customers, designed and installed capital equipment in Aspen’s manufacturing plant to make it easier for customers to work with Pyrogel and provided engineering and technical support for the sales team. The last 5 years have been spent on the commercial side of the business, where Anthony ran the West Coast territory for Aspen, supporting the Oil & Gas industry. Mostly recently, Anthony has been learning about the power generation market, growing Pyrogel’s adoption and building the systems internally at Aspen to fully support the important electricity generation market.

As MISTRAS’ Technical Support Senior Manager, Nick is responsible for service, training, and acoustic applications for the power generation and paper mill industries at MISTRAS I Triple 5. Nick has over 35 years of experience in the power generation business, including supervisory roles in both strategic and day-to-day plant operations providing engineering and management solutions. At MISTRAS, Nick has 10 years’ experience in applying or developing acoustic solutions for customer asset protection. Nick has a BS in Mechanical Engineer degree form Point Park University.

Dan is the Team Leader of Steam Asset Engineering at Uniper Technologies in the UK, an engineering consultancy serving Uniper's own power generation assets as well as those of external clients. He has 20 years of asset support experience in the field of heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) and coal, oil and biomass-fired boilers. He has conducted inspections and provided repair/mitigation advice on over 100 HRSG outages across 14 countries, undertaken numerous data assessments to determine and mitigate the damaging effects of HRSG flexible operation, assessed the impact of plant upgrades on the water/steam cycle and completed component failure investigations and root cause analyses of operational incidents. He has also provided technical specifications, tender assessments and design reviews for new/retrofit components on boiler assets, led and contributed to plant status review and due diligence activities and supported successful warranty claims against OEMs.

Dan is a member of the Steering Committee for the European HRSG Forum and he has presented at international conferences on the subjects of HRSG flexible operation, impact assessment of gas turbine upgrades and UK experience of managing cycling plant.

Stan Rosinski is a technical executive in the Generation Sector at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). He currently supports the resolution of age-related degradation issues in major fossil power generation components. Previously, Rosinski led EPRI’s Renewable Generation area and its corporate-wide Technology Innovation Program. He also managed reactor pressure vessel integrity and fatigue activities in the Nuclear Materials Reliability Program. Before joining EPRI in 1995, Rosinski was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, where he was responsible for the resolution of light water reactor (LWR) materials-related issues. Rosinski received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in metallurgy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Eugene has been the Carolina's HRSG SME and regional engineer for the past 5 years where he is responsible for inspections, providing technical recommendations for improvement and repair, performance monitoring and damage mitigation for a fleet of 15 HRSG units. He has been working with Duke Energy and Progress Energy for the last 14 years in many capacities such as Auxiliary Nuclear Operator, licensed Reactor Operator at the Harris Nuclear plant and Operations Team Supervisor at a combined cycle facility. He received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2005 and is a licensed professional engineer in North Carolina. He is also actively engaged as a program advisor and utility co-chairman to EPRI's Program 88, combined cycle HRSG and BOP.
