Most people spend a significant amount of time in groups – meetings at work, team projects, work conferences, discussion groups, and civic activities to name a few. Participating in your first Human Interaction Laboratory empowered you with concepts and skills to enhance your interpersonal effectiveness including how to reframe self-limiting beliefs, give and receive constructive feedback, communicate authentically, and be more aware of diversity dynamics. NTL’s Human Interaction Laboratory II builds on these skills with a focus on deepening your awareness of how you present yourself in groups and how you can influence group process and dynamics.
Key Learnings:
- Participating in the Human Interaction Laboratory II will enable you to:
- Refresh the concepts and skills you learned in your first Human Interaction Laboratory
- Develop your awareness of how entry behavior affects your effectiveness in group situations
- Gain insights about others’ perceptions of your group membership behaviors
- Increase your understanding of influence and power dynamics in groups
- Develop your skills for managing conflicts in groups
- Deepen your understanding of, and ability to work with group process and group dynamics, including diversity dynamics in groups
- Enhance your formal and informal group leadership abilities

- Is a significant amount of my time spent interacting with others?
- Do I find that, despite my best intentions, my impact on others is not always what I would like it to be?
