A technical seminar focussing on how operators are addressing the updated COMAH regime.

The seminar will feature key industry guest speakers who will present their views on process safety hot topics aligning to the challenges facing companies operating in the updated COMAH regime.

The seminar will focus on the following topics:

-   Human factors and the use of HSE's human factors road map for the management of major accident hazards
-   Application of bow ties as an effective major accident hazard communication tool
-   Emphasis on an audit trail of how to select a representative set of major accident hazards from existing process safety risk assessments, e.g. Process Hazard Reviews (PHR), HAZOP studies, etc.
-   Impact of the updated Chemical and Downstream Oil Industries Forum (CDOIF) guideline on environment risk tolerability
-   Requirement to capture learning from worldwide reviews of major accident hazards as a key part of safety management systems and as a key pre-risk assessment revalidation activity
-   Use of the deep dive technique as an effective focussed process safety barrier assurance technique to complement existing Process Safety Management (PSM) audit programmes.

The seminar will feature key industry guest speakers, our local associations and ABB consultants, who will present their views on the sector's challenges and their experience. It will also provide an excellent opportunity to network with peers in the industry.
