IAAPA Attractions Expo 2017 Submission Form for IAAPA Staff and Committees/Subcommittees

IAAPA staff, committee, and subcommittee members, please use this form to submit an IAAPA Attractions Expo 2017 educational session proposal on behalf of your member group or a special event.

Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL, US 

Conference: November 13-17, 2017        
Trade Show: November 14-17, 2017 

  • Read and accept speaker guidelines.
  • Complete and submit the online Call for Presentations Form. Please be sure to:
    • Designate a Session Coordinator. For Proposals that include multiple speakers, this will be the primary contact person responsible for managing all details of this session and meeting all IAAPA deadlines. This is the person IAAPA and committee members will contact initially with any questions and regarding the status of the proposal in the final slate of programs for 2017.
    • Provide a detailed outline of the session that includes all the key learning points and objectives.
    • Provide a synopsis of the session that would be adapted or included in marketing materials
    • Provide complete contact information for all speakers. IAAPA requires current title/position and company information for session promotion purposes and complete mailing address, phone number, and a unique email address for every speaker in order to provide complimentary Expo registration.
  • Review & verify all information before submitting an entry as information you submit may be published and used in marketing materials.
  • Submit the proposal by December 31, 2016.
  • All proposals will be acknowledged with an email confirmation and summary of your submission. Proposals will be reviewed by June 2017.

  • The Call for Presentation is comprised of two phases:

    1. Open call for all nonIAAPA committee or subcommittee member. Submission deadline was January 6.

    2. IAAPA committee and sub-committee members select open call proposals. Submission deadline are:
      • April 7, first critical deadline: all session details due (except for speaker information).
      • May 5, final critical deadline: final session details due, including speaker information.

    Submitting a proposal is easy, please:

    • Carefully review each tab on the left to ensure that your proposal best meets the current needs and objectives of the Education Conference Program.  

    • Ensure your proposal demonstrates educational value for one or more of the IAAPA target audience(s).

    • Provide a detailed outline of the session that includes all the key learning points and specifically what attendees will gain from participation.

    • Provide a session description of the session that would be adapted or included in marketing materials.

    • Provide complete contact information for all speakers. IAAPA requires current title/position and company information for session promotion purposes and complete mailing address, phone number, and a unique email address for every speaker in order to provide complimentary Expo registration.

    • Read and accept speaker guidelines.

    • Review and verify all information before submitting an entry as information you provide may be published and used in marketing materials.

    • Submit your entries on or before May 5, 2017. You may edit or update your proposal up until this date using the confirmation number and weblink in your confirmation email.

    Complete session submissions are due on or before May 5, 2017.
