Facilitation for the Future offers you over 70 talks, workshops and training courses. Come to the Conference and take part in practical, hands-on sessions across a range of topics. Before the Conference, train with leaders in the field in more in-depth courses. This year has more sessions about Graphic Facilitation, increasing Creativity in teams and ways to engage using Technology. Also expanded are the sessions looking at the world of business and public policy in which we work – the world Beyond the Facilitator. Fast Talks return with short, provocative presentations to get us thinking about creating the future today and experienced facilitators get the first Advanced Facilitator Forums. To kick things off we are very lucky to hear how Disney Resorts keeps raising the bar by making facilitation a core competence for its leaders and managers.
Facilitation for the Future covers not only facilitator tools and techniques, but also the business of facilitation and ways for non-facilitators to use facilitation skills. It is ideal for anyone who works as a leader, coach, member or professional advisor to teams and communities wanting to deliver change.
Advanced Facilitator Forum
Conferences often address the needs of new and intermediate facilitators, but have few sessions designed for the advanced facilitator. During this 180-minute Dialogue you will have the opportunity to share your facilitation experiences and best practices from the past year and provide insights to, and gain insights from, other facilitators on upcoming sessions and past challenges. Veteran facilitator, Michael Wilkinson, serves as your coordinator for creating the vehicle for maximizing our joint learnings.
