This webinar will offer viable alternatives to currently utilized motivational practices on 3 levels: Individual, interpersonal and organizational. The presenter will offer a new way to think about motivation so that it improves staff retention and creates a “better team” that is not focused on negativity or a lack of money and technology but is instead focused on making a difference.Learning objectives are as follows:
Christine Ziemba is the Director of Training for Clearbrook. Christine has been working in social services for almost 20 years in positions ranging from house manager to DSP/Job Coach to case management to supervision/administration, and in varied settings including a residential home for the State of Illinois, Supported Employment Services, sheltered workshop, transportation, home-based services, 2 Autism programs and another specialized program for individuals with high medical needs, and training. Christine has worked as a QIDP, Site Supervisor, Coordinator for home-based services, a sheltered workshop and production, and a few specialized programs, including Autism programs, trainer for staff who support people with IDD and a Director. In her role as Clearbrook's Director of Training, she is responsible for assisting with the development as well as implementation of training for staff at all levels in day programs, intermediate care facilities, group homes, clinical services and home-based services, supervising the Training Specialists and Office Manager, is the Course Coordinator for QIDP Training and various other duties. While at Clearbrook, Christine earned “Employee of the Month” for exceptional customer service to staff, clients and families.
