Last month, the Federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a proposed rule aimed to bring mental health and substance use disorder benefits for low-income beneficiaries (Medicaid and CHIP recipients) in alignment with those of private health plans. Approximately 22.5 million Americans are expected to receive parity protections under this new rule. The New Medicaid Mental Health Parity Rule – How Will it Impact You, presented by Rebecca Farley, Director of Policy and Advocacy for the National Council for Behavioral Health, will provide participants with an overview of the proposed rule and how it will impact providers. The webinar will also allow time for questions and answers, and time for providers to express any concerns with the proposed rule.
