The workshop will take place at the Hotel NH Madrid Ribera del Manzanares. The NH Madrid Ribera del Manzanares hotel is a great base from which to explore Madrid. It’s right next to the gardens of the Manzanares River, and just a 5-minute walk from the Vicente Calderón football stadium. The Royal Palace and Almudena Cathedral are also nearby

The International Baccalaureate (IB) has arranged preferred room rates for this workshop. Please be sure to book these well in advance as they will be released over time. All reservations must be made directly with the hotel/agent. Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from the event.

From the airport:
Train: C1 to Piramides. It's a 50 minutes trip. If you are in the city for a few days buy a T-10, Multi-person card for 10 journeys, (€12,20). It works on the bus too.
Taxi: It's a 20-30 minute trip and is around €30.
Aerobus shuttle: Drops off at Atocha, Cibeles (night) and O'Donell-Doctor Esquerdo to Airport T1,T2 and T4 and costs 5€.

From the train station:

From Atocha: cercanías C1 to Piramides.

Closest metro station: Piramides (L5).
If you are in the city for a few days buy a T-10, Multi-person card for 10 journeys, (€12,20). It's cheaper than a single ticket (1,50€).
