Bringing together people, processes, data and things – turning information into actions
IDCs IoT Conferences 2017 in Copenhagen and Stockholm will focus on how to monetize the IoT, by understanding the role companies play in the complex IoT industry ecosystem, and ensure that what they offer is relevant, profitable, and industry-leading.
IoT is not just about the device - behind the device is an ecosystem containing a wide range of suppliers, both large and small. This creates a significant degree of complexity and challenges. It also creates opportunities – the opportunity to move up the stack, expand and reach a new audience through monetization of IoT.
But how? IoT solutions suppliers, technology or industrial companies, need to understand their role within this complex and fast moving ecosystem, be be prepared to partner, innovate, and make the most of what we in IDC call “the compound effect”. The compound effect is enabled by advances in technology, increase in interconnectivity, entrepreneurship and market forces.
We see more examples today on how to exploit the opportunities of IoT in connected objects, innovation in production and retail as well as smart cities and utilities – all of which will be showcased on IDCs IoT 2017 conferences.
IDC forecasts the IoT market in Western Europe (WE) is worth $145 billion in 2016. This represents very healthy 27.3% growth on the prior year.
IoT revenues are growing strongly across the board in terms of countries and technology categories.
We look forward to working with you to build an agenda that attracts decisions makers and leaves ample time for networking opportunities, ensuring you as a partner meet the right people in right surroundings.
