Existing Building Commissioning
Presented By: Tony DiLeonardo LEED AP, CxA, Wick Fisher White

However, their time ends up being spent trying to maintain and repair building systems that should be working properly but over time have deteriorated. The presentation will guide attendees through each phase of the existing building commissioning process, based on BCxA Best Practices and other industry resources and to show how this process can be implemented into a facility's annual routine to improve building maintenance and operation.
Education Session 2 – 4:45 – 5:30
Green Building vs Human Health and How We Can Achieve Both
Presented By: Feliks Bezati, PhD, Product Sustainability Director at Tarkett
Previously, building standards focused on reduction of water and energy with little push on human health within the buildings. As buildings became more energy efficient, they became more sealed and the unintended consequence was the air quality for occupants became more unhealthy. This presentation will discuss green building design trends centered around occupants, wellness and performance, emerging tools for communication and performance evaluation, review green building system updates and new systems gaining momentum, address the necessary balance in relationship between people and the environment.
