Prerequisite: IICRC Certification in Water Restoration Technician

 **PLEASE BRING YOUR RESPIRATORS FOR HANDS-ON TRAINING FOR THIS CLASS.  If you do not have one or would like to upgrade, Aramsco will have them available for purchase at a special class price. You will also need to provide a copy of your medical evaluation prior to purchasing a respirator by OSHA regulations.


IICRC Certified & Approved Applied Microbial Remediation Technician course is held over four days and it covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ investigations or other related professions. Upon completion of the course, technicians will confidently be able to build several different types of containment, establish, monitor and document negative pressure, proper removal, cleaning and disposal of contaminated debris.  Technicians will also learn sampling techniques and how to properly work with indoor environmental professional (IEP) and simultaneously reduce their liability.  Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants. (4-day course; 28 hours, not including exam time, lunch and breaks)

In the Applied Microbial Remediation Technician Course you will learn about the principles, methods, procedures and tools for structural and content remediation. The course addresses guidelines and industry standards, containment types and set-ups, pressure differentials, demolition and cleaning procedures, microbiology, personal protection equipment and sampling methods. It provides the training to conduct remediation projects, includes a hands-on section and concludes with the exam to receive The IICRC certificate.
