Immune Correlates and Surrogates for Zika Vaccine Development

 PLEASE NOTE THAT ATTENDANCE FOR THIS CONFERENCE IS "BY INVITATION ONLY"

 Overarching goal will be to facilitate ZIKV vaccine development efforts by identifying strategies to demonstrate efficacy in view of waning incidence.

Objectives:
• Review options for bridging efficacy studies to support regulatory licensure
• Discuss possible sources for immune correlates and surrogates (traditional efficacy studies, studies of natural infection in humans, challenge studies in animals and humans)
• Assess needs and requirements for diagnostic assays
• Discuss potential studies to document clinical benefit post licensure
