  • Describe at least three vaccine-preventable diseases associated with recent outbreaks in Massachusetts and two recommendations for control
  • List one current trend in Massachusetts school immunization data
  • Discuss communication techniques and evidence-based strategies to increase vaccination rates
  • State two changes to the 2018 Childhood and Adult Immunization Schedules
  • Describe updates to vaccine guidance and vaccine administration
  • State the requirements and recommendations for proper storage and handling of vaccines
  • Summarize the latest federal Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program requirements
  • Define ways to improve data quality within the MIIS and electronic health records including bidirectional
  • Explain providers’ legal responsibility for reporting to the immunization registry

Process Update: Conference Evaluations for CME/CEU Please note that this year evaluations will be completed online and not in person at the sessions. You will receive an email 1-2 days after the session to complete an online evaluation. After completing the evaluation, you will receive an electronic continuing education credit certificate in approximately 2 weeks. VFC Certificate: Please note that you will not receive a hard copy VFC certificate when attending an In-Person session. You will be emailed a pdf version of the VFC certificate within 3 business days of the session you attend.
