I want to personally invite you to the Idaho Milk Processors Association Annual Meeting and Convention to be held August 10-11, 2017 at Sun Valley Resort in Sun Valley, Idaho.
We are looking forward to having you join us for what promises to be another outstanding event. This year will be the 10th Annual IMPA Dairy Product Development Competition. This involves food science students from the University of Idaho/Washington State, Utah State, BYU and additional, yet to be named Universities, who will be competing for prize money and bragging rights for having the best new dairy product. It is always a joy to have the students participate in the conference, and we also look forward to having some of our 2017 IMPA scholarship winners in attendance.
In addition to the product development competition, we will have speaker/presentation details to follow.
You can register electronically at IMPA 2017 REGISTRATION. To ensure that you are able to participate in this year’s conference, please register as soon as possible and no later than July 28, 2017. Pre-registration eliminates the delay at the registration desk and enables us to give catering a more accurate estimate of the number of persons that will be attending each function. For those persons who do pre-register, name badges and IMPA shirts (if ordered) will be ready for you when you arrive. Cancellations through August 4th will be refunded less a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations after August 4th are not eligible for a refund.
Registration fees for 2017 IMPA members: $325 per person and $200 for spouse (or friend, child, etc. that may attend with you and participate in IMPA functions/meals). For non-members: $425 per person and $200 for spouse (or significant other). In an effort to assist our friends from Academia with attendance, we will be offering a reduced registration fee of $200 for four individuals from each University. An individual registration form/fee is required for each person attending any part of the convention, including any of the meals. Please assist us in guaranteeing accurate food counts and event scheduling by registering spouse and/or significant other that you may bring.
Lodging: Please reserve your lodging at the Sun Valley Resort prior to June 23rd, 2017. Sun Valley is very strict about its reservation policy and any rooms remaining, which have been reserved for IMPA, will be released at close of business on June 23rd and you may not be able to book a room at the Resort itself. Convention events (golf, fishing, trap, rafting and hiking) will require pre-registration. We want to do everything possible to provide our tournament activity chairmen the opportunity to produce a great event.
