Participants will fabricate clear plastic aligners for use in case treatment, mid-course case corrections or making case refinements. They will also gain understanding and use of orthodontic pliers used to create force points for tooth alignment. Clinicians and staff will also learn the steps in treatment planning, techniques for measurement and creation of space within the arch, and aligner fabrication to achieve treatment objectives. The course also includes an overview of basic thermoforming techniques that can also be used to make final retainers, bleach trays and many more profit-building appliances that are often outsourced to labs.
