Infant CPR

This Infant CPR course teaches the lifesaving skills of Infant CPR and relief of choking for an infant up to one year of age. You will learn how to identify the signs of choking and how to help a choking infant.

Skills are taught in a group environment by using the AHA's research-proven-practice-while-watching technique. You will practice hands-on CPR. The focus is on families and caregivers learning CPR for their infants, ages newborn to 1 year.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, & PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the Association.
