The 6th Transportation Research Board Conference on Innovations in Travel Modeling (ITM) of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) will be held in Denver, CO, May 2016. This conference series is the premier forum for sharing the latest developments in travel modeling, networking with fellow professionals, and identifying research and implementation challenges and issues associated with deploying cutting-edge computational methods to meet evolving planning contexts. The first five conferences in this series were held in Austin, Texas (2006), Portland, Oregon (2008), Tempe, Arizona (2010), Tampa, Florida (2012) and Baltimore (2014).

Building upon past ITM conferences, this conference will feature a series of exciting and interactive sessions, addressing a wide range of topics related to innovations in travel modeling. Beyond podium sessions, the conference will host workshops, tutorials, lightning talks, and discussion sessions. These sessions will serve as a venue for the modeling community to collaboratively exchange information on promising modeling methods to address emerging policy questions.  Information about past conferences is available on the Travel Forecasting Resource website.
