Inspection Workshop

This is a FREE event!

A practical workshop on current inspection hot topics to help share good practice and learning from incidents.

The inspection industry is continually developing with new techniques, methodologies and improvements in data management. However the focus from the regulators; Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Environment Agency (EA), remains the same, compliance with regulations and the prevention of accidents and incidents. The information gained from inspection should be focussed on determining the condition of the equipment and the fitness for continued operation and using this information to make informed decisions on the requirement to repair, replace, modify or update the equipment. Obviously we must also comply with regulations but that should not be the primary driver.

This interactive workshop will focus on inspection hot topics with opportunity to discuss how different customers have managed these issues and identified solutions that met their own business drivers, delivering good / best practice and improving their business profitability. Practical solutions will be described with the positives as well as the limitations identified. Participants are encouraged to bring their inspection issues to the workshop.

Duration: ½ day

Price: Free

The participants will work on actual inspection issues and will see different solutions to industry hot topics. Good practice will be shared and changes to legislation and standards will be identified. The participants will be able to share with their colleagues the changes to inspection methodologies and industry good practice.
