Learn the tools and techniques of modern model making. Professional model maker and product designer, Olivia Morgan, will cover tips, tricks and best practices for the physical representation of architecture. The lecture will explain the integration of new technologies and how they influence current trends in architectural models. Attendees will learn about different types of models and how to determine which model will best convey an idea.
The lecture will illustrate the treatment of different modeling materials and discuss their strengths and weakness. A wide range of materials will be covered including MDF, plexi, plaster, 3d printing filament, wood, foam and more.
