AIMS & OBJECTIVES


The aim of this course is to familiarise general dental practitioners with treatment planning and the basic clinical principles
for restoring dental implants.
This will be a chance to spend a day with a highly sought after speaker and clinical academic, Dr Lambis Petridis, and learn the basic clinical concepts of implant prosthodontics. The course includes theory and a practical session focused on basic implant prosthodontic procedures.


• Understand the place of dental implants in treatment planning
• Learn about radiographic and surgical guide fabrication, both conventional and CAD/CAM
• Understand the selection criteria among different implant systems and connections
• Understand abutment selection criteria and the choice between screw vs. cement-retained implant restorations
• Understand the clinical principles of restoring dental implants
