Yes, US | SIF members are extended substantially discounted registration rates, as part of their membership benefits. Members also receive lower sponsorship rates.

US | SIF members also have the option to attend member-only day activities, prior to the conference, Member Day includes an annual meeting, additional programming, and speakers as well as a Members Networking Reception.

The US | SIF 2017 Annual Conference attracted nearly 400 attendees. We expect more than 400 attendees in 2018. 

The conference attracts a diverse array of registrants, including asset owners, fund managers, financial planners and advisors, broker-dealers, banks, community development organizations, pension funds, foundations and research providers, as well as representatives from multilateral institutions, the US government, civil society organizations and academic institutions. An attendee list with names and affiliations will appear on the conference website approximately six weeks before the conference and will be updated regularly.

• Students: We will provide limited discounted rates of $600 for full-time students. If you are interested, please contact Suzy Martin at smartin@ussif.org.This year we are also offering up to 6 students the opportunity to have their registration fee covered through our Peter DeSimone Student Scholarship Program. For more information, please visit our scholarship page. The deadline to apply was March 18th.
• Family Members and Significant Others: We will provide limited discounted rates of $600 for spouses and significant others for the national conference. Those attending under this special discount only have access to meals and networking receptions. If you are interested, please contact Suzy Martin at smartin@ussif.org by April 15th.
• Partial Registrations: Please note that there are NO partial registrations for attendees only able to attend a portion of the conference. A registration cannot be shared by multiple people.
• Volunteers: US | SIF will be staffing the entire conference, so there is no opportunity for reduced registrations in exchange for volunteering.
• Media: A limited number of media with credentials are able to attend; please contact Katherine Murray from The Lowe Group at ussif@lowecom.com for more information.

For its part, US | SIF is limiting print marketing materials for the event and closely evaluating giveaways and other materials associated with the event to ensure the waste is minimized and the products when used, are responsibly sourced. US | SIF limits packaged beverages, and we do not include any bottled water.

We also work closely with the hotel to monitor sustainable food sourcing and waste management.

Discounted hotel rooms are available to US | SIF Conference attendees Sunday, May 27th - Saturday, June 2nd.

• Hotel reservations should be made during the online registration process in order to secure the group rate of $259/night plus 14.5% tax. If you have already registered and forgot to request a hotel room, please visit our conference hotel page.
• The US | SIF room block includes a limited number of rooms and all reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. It is recommended that all hotel arrangements be made as soon as possible to take advantage of the special conference rates. Please note the cut-off date to guarantee the US | SIF group rate is May 7th. After this date, the discounted group rate will not be available and hotel rooms MAY be available at the hotel's prevailing rate.
  
  

Wireless internet is complimentary and available in all hotel guest and meeting rooms.

• Air: All major legacy and discount carriers fly to the Washington metropolitan area's airports, which include Reagan National (DCA), Washington Dulles (IAD) and Baltimore-Washington International (BWI). Washington National is the most convenient and is linked to downtown Washington’s subway system, called the Metro. Washington Dulles and BWI airports are further away and have several transportation options. Please visit each airport's respective website for additional information about air carriers and transportation options. Supreme Shuttle provides airport pickup and drop off to and from the Renaissance Hotel. Individuals making a reservation should use the discount code "USSIF" to receive the following rates: from DCA, $10 per person, from Dulles, $25 for the first passenger and $10 per additional passenger, and from BWI, $35 for the first passenger and $10 per additional passenger. • Amtrak Rail Service: Amtrak provides regular service from around the country to and from Washington’s Union Station. Washington’s Union Station is connected to the city’s subway system, the Metro. See local transportation options below for more information. 

• Bus: In addition to traditional bus service on Greyhound and Peter Pan, several discount bus services operate from major cities in the northeast to Washington, DC. (See Boltbus, Megabus, Washny, and Vamoosebus for information on fares and routes.) Most of these buses operate from Metro stations and are easy to access from the hotel. 

• Car: Washington, DC, is located along the I-95 corridor. Self and valet parking is available at the hotel for an additional fee of $35 per day or $43 + tax respectively. Street parking is not advised.
