LASM - Pennington Planetarium
Opened in 2003, and renovated in 2011, the Irene W. Pennington Planetarium is an 18.3m dome, with a 14° tilt and seating for 171 housed inside the Louisiana Art & Science Museum. Scheduled dome presentations will take place in the planetarium. Copious shelf and cove space is available for installation of equipment. A small pit area in the center of the theater is also available for vendor use. Full vendor specifications are available under the "Vendors" tab in the left sidebar.

LASM - Louisiana Art & Science Museum
The Louisiana Art & Science Museum's Atrium will serve as the Welcome Reception site at IPS 2012. Additionally, delegates will spend time in the 200 seat Brent Auditorium (pictured above) for vendor demonstrations and film screenings.

Baton Rouge River Center
The Baton Rouge River Center, conveniently located across the street from the Pennington Planetarium and a short walk from downtown hotels, is the primary conference venue for IPS2012. It will be the site of all vendor booth exhibitions, the Dome Village, paper/poster/panel sessions, and workshops.The Exhibition Hall and Dome Village have 35' ceilings; full vendor specifications are available under the "Vendors" tab in the left sidebar.

Shaw Center for the Arts - Manship Theatre
The
Shaw Center for the Arts
is a recently opened multi-use facility that hosts dining, retail, museum/gallery and performance spaces in downtown Baton Rouge. The
Manship Theatre
contains comfortable seating for 325, full multimedia capability and a 200 square
meter stage that will be used for vendor demonstrations, film screenings, and other programming throughout the conference.

Louisiana's Old State Capitol
The striking Gothic architecture of Louisiana's Old State Capitol rises high on a bluff
overlooking LASM and the Mississippi River. The
House Chamber
contains comfortable seating for 200+, full multimedia capability and a large, raised stage
that will be used for vendor demonstrations, and content screenings throughout the conference.

Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center
The official hotel of IPS 2012, the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center, will also be used for several meals, panel sessions, IPS affiliate meetings and keynote talks during the conference.
