Funding support for participants from eligible developing economies is provided by Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Germany, under the Strengthening Accreditation Networks in the Asia Pacific (SANAP) programme. This PAC event is for accreditation body personnel that have extensive experience and recognised competence in the assessment of management system certification bodies and the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17021-1, including all relevant PAC Peer Evaluators.
Participants will exchange and workshop their accreditation bodies' processes and assessment experiences, and build consensus on how PAC members can consistently apply specific areas of ISO/IEC 17021-1 requirements. Participants in the workshop are expected to be authorised and experienced ISO/IEC 17021-1 assessors, and have a recent track record in conducting ISO/IEC 17021-1 assessments in the field.
This PAC Workshop in Hong Kong workshop is not suitable for general or introductory training on ISO/IEC 17021-1 (a general training will be undertaken later in 2017).
The maximum number of registrants for this training is 30 persons.
