ISO regional training on ISO/IEC 17011:2017 “General requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies", 28th - 30th August 2017, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia

Training structure

The training is organized around three days which includes a set of interactive instructional methods (such as lectures, group activities and sharing experiences) to convey the information to the participants in an effective and practical manner.

The training is designed as an interactive exchange of information. Therefore, all participants should remain keenly involved in the discussions.  It is only through open discussion that the challenges of accreditation in the region can be identified and a response be considered. Country experiences are an important element in such discussions.

Target audience

The training will target a total of 30 participants from the National Accreditation Bodies in both East and South East Asia region as well as South Asia region.

In the framework of the ISO Action Plan for Developing Countries 2016-2020, ISO will support the participation of two candidates from each country who are working in the National Accreditation Body (i.e. from managerial and/or technical staff). 

The nomination criteria will be explained in the ISO invitation letter. The selection of the nominated candidates to receive sponsorships will be made by ISO.

It is to be noted that the registration is on a first come first served basis.
