Fellowships cover lodging, most meals, instruction and curriculum materials, plus travel expenses to a maximum of $300. Journalist Law School (JLS) participation is limited to 35 professional journalism fellows who are competitively selected. Applicants must be currently employed as professional journalists and have a minimum of three years of journalism experience with primary responsibilities focusing on the United States. Although the program is only four days long, the classes are residential and fellows are expected to attend all class sessions as well as other related and evening activities, stay in the host hotel and participate in organized meals with other fellows.
