This presentation covers the importance of portfolio management, information from Gartner on how portfolio management should be done, information on how I conduct portfolio management at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and ends with some exercises for audience participation.Bio:
Kevin Fitzgerald is the Assistant Vice Provost for Project Management at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He manages enterprise level implementations and maintenance of research, financial, grants and contract accounting, student and HR data systems. Kevin directed multi-campus implementations of systems for the institutional review board for the protection of human participants, institutional biosafety review and institutional animal care and use committee. Kevin also has a strong background in managing large groups of creative professionals in the production of multimedia courseware development. He has produced training and resource products for PriceWaterhousecoopers, AmSouth Bank, Express Personnel Services, Allfirst Bank, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation, Bank of Hawaii, and the United States Postal Service. Mr. Fitzgerald holds an MBA, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master, and is certified for Information Technology Infrastructure Library V2.
