LEARN TO SKI / SNOWBOARD PROGRAM 2017
Group lessons are based on skill, the number of participants, and the number of instructors available. It is amazing how much the students advance after these lessons and there is always room for improvement. Please encourage your students to be positive and courteous towards others in the group who may be slower / faster than they. Let us be open to the lessons God has for us besides specifically “skiing.” Arrangements have been made for the more experienced participants to have a more advanced lesson.
Lesson attendance is mandatory Students gather at the specified meeting place and partake in their lesson. The rest of the time students are free to ski/board as they wish. The great deal Harper offers is due to the lesson portion. If a student in the Learn to Ski/Snowboard Program fails to attend their lesson then he/she is at risk of forfeiting the ski day. If you know your students do not want a lesson, do not sign them up for this program. Harper Mountain is happy to sell you lift tickets at regular priced day rates – after the schools have been processed and the lift opens at 9:30am.
*This is not a drop-off event, parents are responsible for the care and supervision of their children while on the mountain.
*All accepted participants will be emailed a participant package by the coordinator. Completed waivers will be required as directed.
